Product Stewardship Statement.
Understanding the environmental lifecycle of our products is essential to achieve our sustainability goals and is now a growing consideration in product decision making.
We have made significant improvements in the management of our raw material suppliers and in our product quality systems. Policies and standards now cover the environmental aspects associated with our products and suppliers.
This includes requirements for supplier assurances on energy efficiency, greenhouse gas reduction, water efficiency, waste reduction and recycled content. These elements are considered in supplier selection and management and are complimentary to traditional financial, capability and quality considerations.
Other environmental activities which we have undertaken include the development of recycling programs, education of contractors in regards the high re-use potential of Polymax and or the return of uncontaminated product for recycling.
